A perfect evening

The Husband's birthday was on Wednesday. After such an exciting weekend in Belgium, we decided to keep it local. We found a new Chinese restaurant and went bowling. With him being offshore for a while and then the excitement of Brussels, we just haven't had a low key evening recently.

Of course, I "let" the husband win on his birthday...

We pretty much had the bowling alley to ourselves...so why not be a little silly?

Of course, it's not a Husband's birthday without chocolate cake. I just got this from the grocery store but it was pretty decent. One side is discolored because it melted a little in the sun but tasted just fine.

It definitively doesn't compare to his birthday last year where we had dinner at Cinderella Castle but it couldn't have been a more perfect 25th birthday.
